PMO Analyst Opportunity in Santa Ana--- High profile company in the B2B industry

IT PMO Analyst will support the IT Project Management Office (PMO) through detailed portfolio and project analysis and reporting; the IT PMO Analyst should have 8+ years of relevant IT and Project Management Office (PMO) work experience, including knowledge or background in metrics and measurement analytics, knowledge of Enterprise Application Development and Maintenance, Infrastructure, Architecture and IT Financial Practices, (including P&L management, capital vs. expense guidelines (per SOP 98-1) ROI-C, TCO,  and NPV/depreciation guidelines) and associated processes, work products and tools, understanding of program and project management disciplines, experienced in process design, process management and quality management, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, MS- Project , PowerPoint, Access and Excel), familiarity project management tools, SQL, and Access proficiency required; experience with statistical tools such as Minitab strongly preferred. 

DUTIES:   

• Works closely with IT Finance to monitor the overall IT governance process to ensure projects are properly authorized and aligned with business plans and authorized changes

• Analyze the portfolio and performance measurements for defined Information Technology (IT) and Project Management stakeholders.

• Assist WW IT Project Managers in discrete project analysis and reporting as required to support the successful delivery of IT Projects

• Analyze the resource supply/demand forecasts and assists in portfolio planning as well as identification of outsourcing needs including capacity management and analysis

• Participate in IT metrics management and reporting program, including the development of metrics and metric targets by understanding the calculations, the data sources for the calculations, and behaviors that are desired as a result of a certain metric

• Understands and monitors compliance with the IT PMO Governance Framework

• Provides Regional IT Business Leads with portfolio support/consultation via monthly reviews of portfolio’s

• Analyzes defined set of Portfolio Management reports and prepares detailed findings for Project Managers and IT Leads focusing on analysis and determination of associated action items

• Provides management with recommendations to pro-actively address issues and manage risks effectively through trend reporting

• Communicates the ongoing status of the IT portfolio to both Corporate and Regional IT management including defined recommendations and assists in resolving issues/concerns

• Work with IT Finance to monitor and track and report project and portfolio budgets and spend to plan; FTE budgets including internal and external labor, hardware and software spend.  

METRICS AND REPORTING: 

• Establishes calculations, data sets, and targets for new/enhanced metrics at the appropriate organizational level

• Analyzes all metrics data, supports ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests

• Manages requests for metrics communication and education support across the organization

• Manages the creation of redesigned metrics database including appropriate interfaces with all associated data sources 

QUALITY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: 

• Audit sources of metrics data to ensure integrity is maintained

• Monitors & reports IT compliance to data / documentation requirements via audits and escalation process

• Alerts sponsors, stakeholders and other appropriate people within the organization on a regular basis of how the improvement of metrics or improvements in other capabilities impact the overall portfolio management program

• Supports activities to assess IT PMO effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction

• Qualified candidates will have 8+ years of relevant IT and Project Management Office work experience 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 

• Knowledge or background in metrics and measurement analytics

• Knowledge of ADM Process Architecture Model and associated processes, work products and tools

• Understanding of program and project management disciplines

• Experienced in process design, process management and quality management

• High Level of Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, MS- Project, PowerPoint, Access and Excel)

• Minitab experience preferred

• Project Financial Management experience required

• Bachelors of Science degree preferred

• SAP Experience highly desired

• Six Sigma experience desired

• Formal training in Project Management

VP IT Role

The VP/IT has a staff of 6-7 including two systems admin. This person will need to help manage the staff and provides support to Engineer and 3rd party vendors. Reports to Sr. VP.

Job Objective:
Responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s strategic technology development. Responsible for project management and supervisory oversight of all information technology including system analysis, computer systems, network infrastructure, and telephone network for the organization providing operations, maintenance and customer care support services.

Essential Job Functions:
· Under a broad corporate plan, develops policies, procedures, technical standards, methods and schedules.
· Oversees and manages the strategic relationship between information technology and other functions within the organization.
· Reviews and provides best practices to technical and product specific queries regarding operations, network capabilities, service issues, performance, etc. for existing and new services and vendor management.
· Plans, develops, directs and coordinates all technology projects.
· Maintains the organization’s awareness of developments in information technology and computer hardware and software for the formation of long- and short–range plans for the acquisition and implementation of new equipment and techniques.
· Develops and implements the operational systems, including defining the network architecture, assessing and mitigating security risks and developing security and contingency plans to ensure a 99% or greater system uptime.
· PC/server management with deployed machines in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Denver, Colorado.
· Ensures departmental compliance with internal controls and processes, oversees SOX testing of IT function and ensures compliance is affirmed.
· Develops the departmental budget and ensures all costs remain within budget.
· Manages desktop IT support for a large user base, as well as telephone and email technical support.
· Leadership and management of assigned staff, including performance evaluations and other personnel matters that may arise.
· Develops and maintains a customer-focused high-performance team.

Job Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
· Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in information technology management role.
· Proven capability in producing results through strategic IT initiatives.
· Strong leadership skills in setting vision, direction, developing others, and driving change in a timely manner.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
